Maybe Things Really Do Fall Into Place

Image
♡ play our song ♡ October, 2026 🧿 🧿 Sometimes I think about the girl I was in May and June and honestly wish I could sit next to her for a bit. Not to spoil how everything turns out, just to tell her it won't always feel like this. I was overthinking literally everything back then. Worrying about the future, wondering if the things I wanted so badly would ever actually happen, trying to predict every outcome like that would somehow save me from stress. (It did not.) And then slowly, things just... fell into place. Now I'm studying something I used to wish for so much. I sit in classes where professors talk about stuff I actually find interesting, I'm meeting new people, going to new places, and building a life that feels more like mine. It's so weird how something that felt impossibly far away becomes a normal part of a random Monday morning. Like, I used to pray for this, and now I just wake up and go to class. Maybe that's why I believe...

So hi, I'm Amolika. And I will be the single most clumsy, chaotic person you ever meet, guaranteed. The catch is, if you meet me for the first time, I come across as this super chill, nonchalant person. Give it like a MONTH ig,  and you'll realize I'm actually unhinged in the best way. and no, i'm not saying this to hype myself up; this is literally just what my friends say about me. I'm only the messenger. Let's talk about the clumsiness first because it deserves its own paragraph honestly. if you're my friend you already know. i once fell while running, and I swear it happened in actual slow motion, like i had time to think "oh no this is happening" while it was still happening. embarrassing? yes. do i regret it? also yes. but i was with my friends so it immediately became a whole bit instead of a tragedy. i'm also the most leo-est leo you'll ever meet (august girl, obviously), and yeah, i'll say it myself, I can absolutely be a bit...

Blogging My Brain Out Because Therapy Is Expensive

Ok, so real talk, I blog not bc i have life figured out (i very much do not) but bc writing gives me some peace, and also bc yelling into a Google Doc is apparently how i process things now. it helps me clear my head even if literally no one reads it, which, statistically, is probably true for like 80% of these posts. it's basically become my way of figuring out what i'm feeling without spiraling about every single little thing for six hours straight. also yes, i journal literally everything. the big stuff, the tiny stuff, stuff that genuinely does not matter at all but i wrote three paragraphs about it anyway. if something mildly interesting happens to me there's a solid chance it's getting documented somewhere, no exceptions. there's something so weirdly comforting about just. putting your thoughts into words instead of letting them run laps in your head all day. it's like talking to yourself except this version doesn't ask follow up questions, doesn...
