EP-4: Unsent Messages: The Things We Never Say

We all have them, words left unspoken, texts typed but never sent, feelings buried too deep to share. Maybe it’s an apology that never reached the right person, a confession we were too scared to make, or a simple I miss you that felt too heavy to send.

At 17, life moves fast. Friendships shift overnight, crushes fade into silence, and sometimes, people just drift apart. But instead of saying what we feel, we type it out in the notes app, stare at it, then delete it. What if they don’t care? What if it ruins everything? What if it’s too late?

The truth is, we assume we have time, time to fix misunderstandings, to tell someone they matter, to finally speak up. But what if we don’t? What if the words we never say turn into regrets we carry forever?

Vulnerability is terrifying. Maybe honesty feels like a risk. But wouldn’t it be worse to look back and wonder what could have been, if only we had just hit send?
